We collect information you provide when registering (name, email, role), information you add to your profile (bio, location, social media handles, follower counts), and information generated by your use of the Platform (campaigns applied to, content submitted, payments received).
We use your information to operate the Platform, match creators with campaigns, process payments, send notifications about your account and campaigns, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share your profile information with businesses whose campaigns you apply to. We may share anonymised, aggregated data for research purposes. We share information with service providers (e.g. payment processors) as necessary to operate the Platform.
When you add social media accounts to your profile, you provide us with follower counts and engagement data. We use this to determine your creator tier and match you with appropriate campaigns. We do not access your social media accounts directly.
Payment processing is handled through eSewa, Khalti, and bank transfer. We store transaction records but do not store full bank account or payment credentials. Payment information is handled by our payment partners in accordance with their privacy policies.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g. financial records).
You have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@meroclub.com.np.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
